Jimmy Wilson Obituary
Jimmy John "Jim" Wilson, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home on December 8, 2025.
He was born August 6, 1938, to the late Gerald and Eleanora "Toots" (Alt) Wilson in Council Bluffs, IA. Jim was the owner/operator of Wilson Trucking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Wilson; step mother, Laura Wilson; in-laws, Charles & Vivian Colton; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry & Neva Wilson; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Duane & Mary Colton; brother-in-law, Richard McCarty.
Jimmy is survived by his children and their spouses, Kimberly & Melvin McKern, Robin & Dan Rathke, Roger & Jennifer Wilson, Christine & James Flere, and Joan & Chad Kennedy; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; sister-in-law, Patricia McCarty; nieces, nephews, and cousins; close family friend, Doug Jonsen.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, December 14, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
