Jimmy Dale Wykle

Jimmy Dale Wykle, 48, of Greeneville TN, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 16, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Jimmy loved bluegrass music and being outdoors, growing up, he sang with the Wykle family and the Wykle Brothers. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Frank and Mary Wykle; maternal grandparents, David and Margie Blair; father, Calvin Wykle; brothers, Jeffery and Jamie Wykle; brothers in law, whom he loved as brothers Greg and Norman Simpson and nephew, Tristan Doss.
Jimmy is survived by his devoted wife, of 26 years, Elizabeth of Greenville; mother and stepfather Sandra and Norman Harbin; brothers, Jaylynn (Amanda) Wykle, Josh Wykle, Jody (Ashley) Wykle; father and mother-in-law Rev. Bob and Helen Simpson, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Caris Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Jimmy. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bob Simpson, Rev. J.J. Harris and Rev. Mickey Burton officiating. Music will provided by Jeremy Cutshaw and Mickey Burton. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bowser Cemetery, those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 AM. Pallbearers will be Josh, Austin and Jody Wykle, Logan Doss, Brandon, Travis and Douglas Miller and Mickey Morelock. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
