Jina S. Kelly

Jina Selana Kelly, 30, of Lafayette, formerly of Rossville, passed away July 14, 2024. She was born Jina Renee-Love Rust on June 9, 1994, in South Bend. She was later adopted by Ralph and Susan (Dillen) Kelly. 

She was a 2013 graduate of Rossville High School where she participated in the Rossville Rockettes dance troupe and sang with Sophisticated Ladies. She attended Ivy Tech and Triccoci Beauty Academy. She worked for Texas Roadhouse, Alorica, and State Farm Insurance. She would attend Livingstone Church. She loved to dance, take pictures, enjoyed watching her movies and television shows, being out in nature and hiking, swimming, shopping, crafting, and gardening. But above all she loved being with her family, especially her daughter. 

Jina is survived by her mother; her daughter, Presley Howard; siblings, Laura (Frank) Pritchard, Samm Kelly, Charity Kelly, Esther (Brandon) Pritchard, Shameka (Marcus) Brown, Fred Kelly; and the father of her daughter, Brett Howard. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph and a sister, Loretta Kelly.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel in Rossville. Pastor Allen Weldy will officiate.
