Jo Ann D. Bell, 84, wife of Stuart P. Bell and a resident of Wachapreague, VA, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital with family and friends by her side. Jo Ann retired from A&P supermarket with over 30 years of service. She will be remembered for her bright cheery smile and friendly personality.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by three children, Ronald L. Davis (Rachel), Debbie D. Fisher (Harry), and Mark T. Davis (Ellie); two stepchildren, Lisa Seay (Steve), and Stuart L. Bell; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Thurman English and Della Mae Wimbrow English; and brother, Robert English.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 2:00PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverends John Burr and Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hollies Baptist Church, Post Office Box 7, Keller, VA 23401.
