Jo Ann Ann Podbreger

Jo Ann Podbreger, 75, of Lawton passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in Lawton following a long illness. She was laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Jo Ann was born on November 4, 1949 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to Hubert Lee and Vivian Estell (King) Podbreger. She had a 30 year career in nursing, serving as a licensed practical nurse at local nursing homes, Southwestern Hospital, Comanche County Memorial Hospital, Reynolds Army Hospital, and 14 years in San Diego, California.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Crawford, of Marlow, OK; and her nieces and nephews, Charles Thomas "Tommy" and Stephanie Crawford, Jr, of Meers, OK, Steven Craig Crawford, of Plano, TX, Dan Allen Crawford, of Lawton, OK, Sherri Lynn Schauer and husband, Rodney, of Plano, TX and Linda Crawford Flaig, of Marlow, OK and her partner, Merrill Wilson, of Lawton, OK; and her great nieces and nephews, Amber Crawford, Elliott Crawford, Steven Crawford, JR, Lacey Flaig Ryan and husband, Tyler Ryan, Emily (Crawford) Cremeans and husband, Kyle Cremeans, Kristina Flaig and her partner, Tim Alaniz, and Liam Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother in law, Charles Thomas Crawford, Sr.
