Obituary of Jo Ann Braddock
Mrs. Jo Ann Braddock, age 83, a resident of Auburndale, Florida went to Heaven on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at New Horizon Share Home in Winter Haven surrounded by her family. Mrs. Braddock was born August 11, 1940 in Winter Haven, Florida to David William and Carrie Lou (Blount) Moore. Jo Ann was a lifetime Polk County resident. She graduated from Winter Haven High School and was a homemaker. She volunteered for Winter Haven Hospital Pink Ladies, was a volunteer in the early years for PTA at both her children's schools. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale. Jo Ann enjoyed cooking, cleaning, yardwork especially raking leaves and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Paul E. Braddock, Jr.; sister – Mildred Gregory; brother – Bobby Moore; nephew – David Gregory and brother in law – Norman Gregory. Jo Ann is survived by her loving and devoted family, son – Paul E. Braddock, III and wife Tina; daughter – Carol Lundy and husband Larry; 4 nieces – Connie Rizer and husband Charles, Vivian Gregory, Robin Moore and husband Nolan and Lauren Havey and husband Jim; nephew – Kevin Moore; sister in law – Thelma Moore; brother in law – Bobby Braddock; granddaughter – Ashlee Rogers and husband Mike; grandson – Casey Braddock and fiancé Jocelyn. Graveside services will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, December 27 at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 West Derby Avenue, Auburndale.
