It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Charlotte Fahy Oschman. She passed away July 29th, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte passed after a long, brave battle with a terminal illness and will be remembered for her kind heart, generosity, vibrant and gentle spirit. Charlotte was born the youngest of 3 siblings on July 11, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to James Howard Fahy and Alice Fahy. Affectionately referred to as "Bunny", Charlotte graduated from Lincoln High School where she and her devoted husband of 59 years, James F. Oschman, were high school sweethearts. Charlotte and her friends, particularly her dear friend Diane, enjoyed bowling, listening to records, dancing the Jitterbug and Twist. She cherished summers crabbing with her cousins Barry and Janice at Pierces Point and soaking up the sun on the beach in Wildwood NJ. Charlotte earned her college degree from Pierce College of Philadelphia where she gained a lifelong best friend, Rita. Soon after she began working at the Hentz Brokerage Firm. She was impassioned by finance and an avid stock trader. In the mid 1970's Charlotte and Jim moved to West Chester PA with their daughter Faye. Many of Charlotte's fondest friends were neighbors in their Waterview neighborhood. Charlotte and Jim relocated to Lakeland, FL in 2021 to be closer to their daughter's family. Charlotte possessed a panache for fashion, an enthusiasm for extended shopping trips to Bloomingdale's and a love for home décor. Jim and Charlotte traveled extensively, were Broadway Theater enthusiasts and wine aficionados. One of Charlotte's favorite passions was the renovation and management of The Merry Widow, a historic, Victorian property in Cape May NJ, as well as working on the financial side of her husband Jim's business, Center Square Hardwood Flooring. Charlotte retired after happily serving several years with Big Spring Railroad.

Charlotte was proceeded in death by her parents; 2 brothers - James H. Fahy Jr. and Richard K. Fahy Sr. She is survived by her loving family, husband - Jim; daughter - Faye (Joe) Corba; 2 grandsons - Joseph and Michael; sister-in-law - Mary Judith; and many cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

A celebration of life will be held in Lakeland, FL and West Chester, PA. Services to be determined at a later time.

A classy lady gone too soon! As a High School classmate of Charlotte and Jim, I recall fond memories of school, the fun train ride to the NY World's Fair in 1964, and Charlotte and Jim's wedding in her parents' home. As our lives drifted apart, we stayed in touch and reconnected in Florida. I will so miss talking to and visiting with this ever-so gracious lady. What a wonderful life she and Jimmy created for themselves.
All my love and condolences to Jim, Faye and her extended family.
