Davidson, Jo Ann entered into rest on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the age of 96 years and 1 day. Born Wednesday, October 16, 1929 to the late Loarn Sr. and Josephine Shuemaker (nee Jelinek) in Cairo, Illinois. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late James "Whitey" Davidson. Loving mother of Lu Ann (Mike Crane) Tralles and Bryan (Danette) Davidson. Dear sister of Ira Shuemaker, the late Loarn Shuemaker Jr; Don Shuemaker and Jeannie Kline. Proud grandmother of Danielle (Cole Sr.) Duty, Alona (Nathan) Zornes, Isaiah (Sydney) Davidson, Micah (Alyssa) Davison, Anna Davidson, Yura Davidson and great-grandmother of Cole Duty Jr; Carter Duty, Clayton Duty and Ezra Davidson. Our dear mother-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. Jo Ann was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Fenton. Jo Ann was kind and hopeful, filled with great joy and a deep love for Jesus that was easily seen through her smiling face and gentle spirit. Her love for her family was strong, and she found great fulfillment in serving them and her church. We rejoice that she is with our Lord Jesus, but she will be greatly missed. Interment: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials to the First Baptist Church of Fenton at http://www.fbcfenton.com in Jo Ann's honor are appreciated. Celebration of Life at First Baptist Church of Fenton Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.
