Plaistow, NH: Jo Ann (Sullivan) Frazier, 70, a lifelong resident of Plaistow, died at her home on May 31, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Edward and Doris (Yates) Sullivan, she moved with her family to Plaistow, where she was raised and educated. A member of the Timberlane Regional High School Class of 1971, Jo Ann went on to receive her associate's degree from Northern Essex Community College. She was employed at the United States Postal Office in Plaistow before transitioning to a banking position at Provident Bank of Amesbury, where she worked until her retirement.
Jo Ann was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed taking care of her feline pets. She found joy in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family and friends and enjoyed the occasional trips to the beach.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Rachel Frazier, of Connecticut, her son, Jake A. Frazier, of Danville, her grandchildren, Ava Smith and Anthony S. Raffa, a brother Edward "Ned" Sullivan, IV of Derry, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Randy Blinn of Plaistow and Velma and Anthony Schadone of Plaistow, and other extended family members and close friends, as well as her loving cat, Tippy.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on June 13, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. For those that would like to make a donation in Jo Ann's name, the family would like them to consider Feline Friends, P.O. Box 2452, Salem, NH 03079
