Jo Ann Garrett

Jo Ann Garrett of Godley, Tx passed into eternity January 10, 2026. She was born in Bloom Township. OH to William J and Bertha M Childers June 26, 1937. She met and married the love of her life, A.F "Pete" Garrett, December 27, 1954. They made their home in Granbury, Tx in the 70s. She retired from Walmart in 2005, after much protest from her grandson, William. She will always be remembered by her loved ones and friends by standing on her porch to wave bye until you were out of her sight, bare foot and in her nightgown, whether rain, sleet, or snow! She loved a good game of Skipbo, Uno, or even Aggravation even up to the day she passed, she might have fallen asleep at times in her later years but, it was always game on.
Jo was preceded in death by the love of her life, A.F. "Pete" Garrett, daughter Vicky Ewing, grandson Michael Hargrove Jr, great grand-daughter, Olivia Garrett, Her parents, W.J and Bertha Childers, and all 10 siblings. She is survived by son Arby Garrett Jr (wife Jennifer) of Mo, Debra Reuterskiold of Tx, Robert Garrett of Tx, Donald Garrett of Tx, 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday January 19, 2026 at StoneWater Church at 911 E Hwy 377 Granbury, Tx at 1pm. Followed by graveside service at Holly Hills Memorial.
