Jo Anne Grady, 70, of Littleton, NC passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC. She was born August 3, 1953, in Halifax County to the late George Livy Hargrave and Annie Marie Johnson Hargrave. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Glenn Hargrave and Mike Hargrave.
She was a faithful worker at Walmart for 26 years.
Jo Anne is survived by her husband Lee Roy Grady; her daughter Debra Grady of Littleton, stepdaughters Josie Wright of Gloucester, VA, Sherry Koonce (Keith), and Jeanette Daniels both of Pinetown, NC; her son James "Roger" Bertram (Wendy) of Roanoke Rapids; stepson John Lee Grady of Virginia Beach; her sister Nancy Hargrave of Roanoke Rapids; her brother Randy Hargrave (Michelle) of Roanoke Rapids; grandchildren Angel, Brandon, Rebecca, and Shyann, many great-grandchildren and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service on Sunday, February 18, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Mitchell Norville officiating, interment at Crestview Cemetery after the service. A visitation will be held at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
