Jo Francine Kopsa, 75, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, of Granbury, passed away August 5, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 P.M., Wednesday afternoon, August 13, 2025 at the Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East, in Granbury. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Jo was born on February 13, 1950, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to the late C.B. and Francine Hargadine. On August 8, 1970, Jo married Randy Kopsa and together had two children, Jennifer and Byron. Jo enjoyed traveling, flower gardening and bird watching. She was known for the artistic decorating of her home for all the holidays. Jo was a true American patriot and was a strong supporter of the US Armed Forces. She worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant at Wickline United Methodist Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Most of all, Jo will be remembered for the love she had for her family – particularly for her grandchildren.

Jo is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Randy Kopsa; her daughter, Jennifer Akin and her son, Byron and wife Kelly Kopsa; her beloved grandchildren, Hogan, Julianna, Owen, and Kennedy; and by her brother-in-law, Dale Downing.

In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her sister, Cheri Downing.
