Jo Langston, 83, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. The graveside service will be held at 11:45 a.m. at Memphis Memorial Gardens in Bartlett, TN.

Jo was born on October 17, 1942, in Parkin, AR. She worked for both the Federal Government and Tennessee State Government before retiring from both. While working there, she also worked at Walmart part time and continued working there after her retirement. Jo enjoyed traveling whenever she was given the opportunity. She also loved planting flowers and gardening in her vegetable garden. Jo was always crafty and enjoyed doing things with her hands such as knitting and crochet, but her favorite was quilting. She belonged to the quilting guild in Olive Branch, "Quilting in the Grove," and she devoted many hours to making quilts for charitable organizations.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband, David Lamar Langston; parents, Irene and Fred Jordan; sister, Sandye Capers; and brothers, Billy Jordan and Donald "Bud" Jordan.

Jo is survived by her daughter, Beth Langston (Michael Brown) of Boulder, CO; sons, Bryan Langston of Olive Branch, and Jeff Langston of Churchville, MD; and sister, Patsy Wootten of Olive Branch.

In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in Jo Langston's name to the charity of the donor's choice.
