Jo Ann Peek

PEEK, Jo Ann, 89, resident of Prattville, AL, hometown of Godfrey, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Mrs. Peek was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Pearl Shake; husband, Gerald Eldon Peek; daughter, Diana Jo Ash; two brothers, Harlan Shake and Bill Shake. She is survived by her son, David Lynn Peek (Demonica); four grandchildren, Kayla Lynn Mareth (Chase), Aaron Lynn Peek, Amanda Leigh Cooper (Cody) and Alex Williams Ash (Desiree); five great-grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn Mareth, Sawyer Neil Mareth, Charley Kay Mareth, Jackson Allen Cooper and Azaria Ash; extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to The American Heart Association.
