All hail the traveler!

Jo Nell Crews Radcliff crossed through the veil on October 8, 2025, at 3:08 a.m., surrounded by the pure and unwavering love of her family.

Born and raised in Lindale, Texas, Jo Nell graduated from Lindale High School before pursuing nursing at Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Austin. She served with honor in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1963 as a First Lieutenant and Registered Nurse.

Jo Nell is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, David A. Radcliff, and their four adoring children: Anne-Michelle Gordon and spouse Steve Gordon; Gregory Radcliff and spouse Nan'Katherine Radcliff; Dianna D'Angelo and spouse Carlo D'Angelo; David Radcliff and spouse Michelle Radcliff. She also leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through her grandchildren: Andrew Queipo, Gabriella Queipo, Ellery D'Angelo, Amedea D'Angelo, Allison Radcliff, Olivia Radcliff, Abigail Radcliff, and Ethan Radcliff, and her precious great-grandchildren: Adrian Queipo, Valentina Santibanez, Ara Joy Santibanez, Adaline Lou Queipo, and Noah Bellinger.

Following her Air Force service, Jo Nell and David raised their family in Parkersburg, West Virginia, where she continued to work and teach in the nursing arts. Her life was one of service to her family, her patients, and her community. Jo Nell found purpose in lifting others up and poured compassion into every life she touched.

Her influence lives on through her children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren, many of whom have followed her path into the nursing profession, continuing Jo Nell's legacy of care and kindness.

A woman of many talents and deep spirit, Jo Nell sang in church choirs, wrote children's books, painted, baked, and delighted in supporting the artistic and scientific curiosities of her children.

In retirement, Jo Nell returned to East Texas, settling in Mineola. There, she remained active in her community, proudly participating in the American Legion and the annual Veterans Day Parade.

Jo Nell's life was a testament to service, love, creativity, and unwavering support for others. She was, and remains, a guiding light for all who knew her.
