Joan Ackley

Joan Ackley passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024. She was 83 years old. Joan was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Charles Ackley. She is survived by her loving children, Andrea Boyce (Keith), Charles (Karen), Stephen (Doris), Timothy (Katherine), and Christopher (Michael); grandchildren, Sean, Kyle, Amber, Amanda, Abbey, Kevin, Aliza, Nehemiah, Gideon, Selah; great-grandchildren, Lily Grace, Noah, Nathan, Jordan, Cooper, Patrick, Finn, Jordan, Serenity, Samuel, Lexie, and Aidan; and siblings, Joyce Jones (Edward), and Mark Benner (Diane).
Joan was a devoted wife and mother. Her love for her family was apparent in all that she did. Joan was a talented seamstress and pianist. She loved music and would often fill the silence by singing or humming a tune. Joan's favorite way to pass the time was visiting with loved ones. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren and made sure to keep apprised of all that was going on in their lives. Joan was never far from her bible, and while she will be immensely missed, her family is taking comfort in the fact that she was ready to be at home with the Lord.
Relatives and friends are invited to Joan's Life Celebration on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at McGhee Givnish Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966. A funeral service will begin at 10:00AM.
