Joan Apple Obituary
Joan was born on August 10, 1942, in Gorman, Texas to the late Alvin R. McNutt and Hazel Sauls-McNutt. Joan married James Apple on June 1,1960 at the First Baptist Church in Cross Plains, Texas. Joan was a teacher's aide for 30 years working at the Cross Plains and Rising Star Schools and she loved all the students at each school. Joan's pride and joy were her grandchildren, which she loved deeply.
Joan was preceded in death by her twin boys, Alvin and Calvin Apple; parents, Alvin and Hazel McNutt; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Joan is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, James Apple of Cross Plains; sons, Rickey Apple and wife, Jamie of Cross Plains; Tony Apple and wife, Lorrie of Coleman; Darin Apple and wife, April of Burleson; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Glen McNutt and wife, Lee; sister-in-law, Sandra and husband, Curtis Doyle; special companion, Rascal.
