James and Joan were high school sweethearts and graduates from Merchantville High School in the 1950's and later married at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Merchantville in 1956. They will be forever sweethearts! Joan was a lifelong resident in Cherry Hill for over 58 years. She was a retired retail clerk for Path Mark after over 30 years of dedicated work. Joan was a hard worker and enjoyed working on her yard because it simply was a rewarding experience for her to do all the landscaping at her home on her own and enjoy the beauty of her work afterwards! She loved all the holidays and enjoyed planning the holiday meals! She always made Christmas magical, happy and memorable! Joan enjoyed family trips to the shore, amusement parks and going to Lancaster for train rides and enjoying the beautiful farms with cows and horses! She enjoyed making ceramics as gifts for her family, especially nativity sets! She loved all animals, especially cats and dogs! Joan was a avid supporter of Humane Society and Animal Welfare Association. Joan was a kind, humble, caring person who loved church, she loved her kids and grandkids with all her heart! Joan will always be the best mom and grand mom and best friend forever and ever! She will be dearly missed by her family, but always remembered! In lieu of Flowers please make a donation in Joans name to the Animal Welfare Association or Animal Adoption Center.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday Oct 14th from 6-8pm at Eichel Funeral Home 8323 Maple Ave Pennsauken NJ 08109. PH 856-662-1102. Funeral Mass will be Friday Morning 10AM at St Peter Roman Catholic Church 43 W. Maple Ave Merchantville, NJ 08109. Burial at Locustwood Memorial Park.
