Joan Mary Beierle, known to friends and family as Joanne, passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on October 27, 1936, Joanne led a life characterized by her dedication to nursing, her love for animals, and her many creative pursuits.
Joanne spent much of her professional life as a nurse, where she touched the lives of many with her caring nature. In her personal life, she enjoyed raising Shelties, creating lasting bonds with her beloved pets.
An avid gardener, Joanne found joy in nurturing her plants and spending time outdoors. She also expressed herself through various forms of art, including painting, drawing, sculpturing, and quilting reflecting her appreciation for beauty in everyday life.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl. Joanne is survived by her three daughters: Joanna Mann (Jerry), Debi Kelly, and Nicole Beierle. She took pride in her role as a grandmother to Jessica Mitchell (Kris) and their daughter Gemma; Kristen Johnson (Brian) and their son Alex; Shaun Kelly (Hannah) and their two sons, Jason and Justin.
Joanne will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a local animal shelter.
