James Howard Beierle II

James Howard "Jimmy" Beierle, II, 49, of Mount Crawford, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Born on February 14, 1976, in Virginia, he was the son of James Howard Beierle and Gail "Yvonne" Atkins Beierle.
Most folks knew him as Jimmy. He had a fun-loving spirit, and like Peter Pan, he never truly wanted to grow up. He was known for his smile, his sense of humor, and the way he could bring a little lightness to almost any moment. He approached life with a sense of adventure and joy, always ready for a good time. He found happiness in the simple pleasures-fishing, kayaking, grilling, and sharing a cold beer with friends. He had a green thumb and took pride in tending his plants. Wherever he went, his loyal dog, Darma, wasn't far behind.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Monica Lynne Beierle; his two sons, Tyler James Beierle and wife Emma Grace, and Brett Austin Beierle and his furry companion, Bugs; his brother, Steven Beierle and wife, Elissa; his grandmother, Audrey Beierle; nieces and nephews, Alex and Allison Beierle, Emma Blevins, and Brooklyn Lyon. He is also survived by his Aunt Betsy and Tommy Whitesel; Uncle Tom and wife, Brenda; Uncle Eddy and wife, Audrey; and numerous cousins who will remember his laughter and his spirit.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard Beierle, and his grandparents George and Wilberta "Mamoo" Atkins.
Jimmy believed life was meant to be lived-not planned, not perfected-just felt and enjoyed.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Mount Crawford Cemetery with Shannon Beasley officiating.
