Joan Blazevich Obituary

Joan attended St. Rita Elementary School and St. Mary's High School in Lawrence. She furthered her education at Stonehill College and Marywood University. Joan served in the religious order of The Sisters of Jesus Crucified for over three decades, dedicating her life to teaching and religious education in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Later, she worked at the Internal Revenue Service.
A service to honor and celebrate Joan's life will be held on July 14, 2023. Visitation will take place from 9 – 10 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Joan will be laid to rest at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
Memorial contributions in Joan's memory can be made to St. Monica's Church and mailed to: Parish Offices, 254 Merrimack Street, Methuen, MA 01844. Directions and online condolences can be found at www.pollardfuneralhome.com.
