Joan Marie Caputo

Joan Marie Caputo, 83, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on January 11, 2026. She was born in East Orange, NJ, on July 8th, 1942, to the late Joseph Dalbo and Adeline Dalbo. Along with her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Philip Caputo; sister, Mary Ann "Honey" Conforti; brother, Anthony Dalbo; and her son-in-law Louis Bucca.

She is survived by her five daughters: Desiree Caputo, Dawn Caputo, Debbie Bucca, Kimberlee Caputo, and Robyn Fitter and husband Rich; her two sons: Paul Caputo, Phil Caputo and wife Dina Pezzamenti; her grandchildren: Raven Nave and husband Joseph, Alexis Bucca, Sam Bucca, Dylan Heller, Marissa Caputo, Paul Caputo, Caden Caputo, Calia Caputo, Luca Pezzimenti, Francesca Pezzimenti, Luke Fitter, and Dallas Shatel; and her two great grandchildren: Carmella Nave and Lorenzo Nave and her sister, Barbara Miele and Brother-in-law, Vito Conforti.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville, North Carolina on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 2:30pm.

Joan was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a joyful grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family, and her family was her entire world. There was so much love inside her heart for each and every one of us. She loved to sing, draw, and paint, and she made certain everyone received a handmade card for their birthdays and special occasions. She was always quick to give everyone a smile that conveyed the warmth inside her heart, and her kindness touched so many people.A Funeral Mass will be held
