Joan (Jo) Elizabeth Ashburn Clow, a 48 year resident of Boulder City, died on June 12, 2025. She was born in Tilden, Nebraska to Clifford and Berneda Ashburn. Before moving to Nevada, she lived in Nebraska, Kansas, Alaska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Jo was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She served on the Boulder City Hospital Board of Trustees and the Hospital Foundation Board.
While in South Dakota, she worked for the State Legislature and the Legislative Research Council. She retired from the Bureau of Reclamation in Boulder City in 1997.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mereidth J Clow, and a daughter, Deboraha Jo. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Ann Clow of Pahrump, her companion, Al Muncy, and sister Jean Ruane of Richland, Washington.
Services will be private.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Boulder City Hospital.
