Joan Coyle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home & Crematory - Tarpon Springs on Sep. 24, 2025.
Joan Coyle, 59, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on September 22, 2025. She was born in Winthrop, Massachusetts, and throughout her life, she carried with her the warmth and love of family that defined who she was.

Joan is survived by her devoted husband, Alfred Coyle; her loving mother, Diana Anyon; her children, Samantha Hammond, Jessica Bridges, Rachael Bridges, Michael Anyon, and Paul Kompe; her cherished siblings, Candice Kirk and Gordon Anyon; 31 treasured grandchildren; and 2 precious great-grandchildren.

Joan was a woman who gave endlessly of her heart. She found her greatest joy in her family, and her home was always a place of welcome, laughter, and comfort. She was deeply proud of her children and grandchildren, and she created lasting memories with each of them-memories that will continue to bring smiles and stories for generations to come.

Those who knew Joan will remember her as someone who could light up a room with her kindness and humor, someone who gave the best hugs, and someone who always made sure everyone felt loved. Her spirit, strength, and compassion will never be forgotten.

Joan will be missed more than words can express, but her love will live on in all of those she leaves behind.

When I first met Joan, she made me feel very welcome and part of the family right away. She made sure I wasn´t lonely and homesick when I was 1000 miles from home. Right away We discovered we had a lot in common, kids the same age, crocheting, music , reading and we both liked doing all kinds of crafts. She helped me with our wedding , helped me find my wedding dress and made the cake us. Another talent she had, decorating cakes. She crocheted a lot of beautiful things. She was always willing to help someone and I don´t think it mattered who it was. She had a big heart never forget a birthday or anniversary. She was smart and loved her kids and family so much. One thing I do know is that her Dad was there waiting for her and it was a beautiful reunion. I know how much she had missed him. we will miss her.
