Joan Dane Obituary
Joan has always worked tirelessly for her family. Her father (Frank Klein) passed away from a massive heart attack when she was only 14 years old. Along with her siblings she began to work and help care for her mother (Genevieve McGarvey) and help support the family who still lived at home. She graduated from Sacred Heart School in Waterloo and Married John E. Dane, they had Seven children, Jeffrey Dane, Lynn (Jerome) Ortner, Connie (Steve), Angela (Brian) Miller, Ann (Rick) McCahen, Allen (Teresa) Dane, and Jennifer Loder. 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. While she took care of her family she worked for Venda Foods at John Deere's as a supervisor.
Joan had a love for sports, Basketball, Baseball and Football, and really enjoyed watching the Hawkeye Girls Basketball this year!
Joan was always a kind spirit and always put others before herself. We will miss her kind and caring heart and soul!
Burial and celebration of life to be held at a later date.
