Joan Kelly DiPetrillo, 65, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 24, 2022 after a two-year illness. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. DiPetrillo for 39 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Kelly. Besides her devoted husband she is survived by two cherished daughters, Janessa and Christen DiPetrillo, three brothers John "Jack" Kelly, Robert and Thomas Kelly, 18 nieces and nephews and 17 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Joan was always full of life, fun-loving, always laughing and had an effervescent smile.
She loved and was dedicated to her family. Joan's honesty and candidness was the foundation for her developing many meaningful friendships. No matter where Joan lived, she made many close friends who were considered as family. Joan was adored by all and will be greatly missed.
Joan's funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 1st at 8:45 a.m. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, Providence, masks are required.
