Joan Eisenhardt

On December 30, 2025, Joan (nee Marchesani), age 89, passed away peacefully at home. Born in Jersey City, Joan has been a longtime resident of Barrington. She was an active parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Church for over fifty years and then St. Rose of Lima Parish in Haddon Heights for the past 10 years. She was manager of the gift shop at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and then a longtime volunteer.
Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Eisenhardt, Sr.; her daughter, Donna Rau; and her brothers, Dr. John (Jack) A. and Joseph Marchesani. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Janice Duquesnel (Jim), her son, Joseph, Jr. (Kathy); her son-in-law, David Rau (Linda) her grandchildren, Jennifer Hurowitz (Alex), Joseph Eisenhardt, Mark Eisenhardt (Nash), Ashley Rau Sindorf (Trevor), Emily Rau, Eddie Lincoln and Laura Lincoln; 6 great grandchildren; her sisters, Jane McCullen and Sister Janet Marchesani as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Wednesday morning, January 7th from 9:30 - 10:45 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Avenue and Kings Highway, Haddon Heights where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery., Bellmawr.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorial contributions to Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, 424 E. Browning Rd., Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
