Joan Allison Johnson

Joan Allison Johnson, 67, of Prattville, Alabama, began her life on September 27, 1958, at 3:40 p.m. in Frankfurt, Germany, born to Jack Cooper Weekley and Onnie Merle Weekley. She passed away on January 15, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center South, surrounded by those who loved her.

Allison was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter whose life was defined by love, perseverance, and quiet strength. She shared 33 years of marriage with her husband, William E. Johnson, whom she married on August 26, 1992. Together, they built a life grounded in commitment, family, and loyalty.

A devoted mother to Kayla, her only child, Allison's greatest pride was her family. She was steady and resolute-someone who gave of herself fully and without hesitation. Her love was constant, her strength unwavering, and her devotion to those she loved was never in question.

Allison is remembered as a strong-willed and resilient woman whose love meant protection, always, and for the way she consistently showed up for the people who depended on her.

She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Johnson; her daughter, Kayla Marie Johnson; her brothers, Randy Weekley and Steve Weekley; and her sisters, Caroline Phillips (Weekley) and Sharon Hobbs (Weekley). She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Cooper Weekley; her mother, Onnie Merle Weekley (Bedsole); and her sister, Ginger Weekley.

Her life was marked by steadfast love, resilience, and the deep certainty that her family was always her first priority. She is already deeply missed but she will be remembered forever.

There will be a small service held graveside on Friday the 23rd at 11:00am at Prattville Memorial Chapel and Memory Gardens on Fairview Ave.
