Joan Latham Obituary

Joan Latham

Joan Latham, age 90, of Harmony Village passed away on March 20, 2020. Following graduation from Dwight Morrow High School, Englewood, NJ, Joan attended the Barbizon School of Modeling and later worked at the Kudner Advertising Agency in New York City. After marrying her late husband, James H. Latham, Jr., she resided in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ for nearly 60 years where she devoted herself to raising their family. Later, Joan returned to work and retired as an Administrative Assistant from Medical Economics, a medical publishing company. Joan enjoyed traveling, bowling, spending time with family and friends, and was a devoted parishioner of St. Luke's RC Church. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Yenco and her husband Ernest of Seminole, FL; James Latham and his wife, Elan, of Bethlehem, PA; Christopher Latham of Mahwah, NJ; Laurie Holt and her husband, Jack, of Mendham, NJ; and Susan Latham of Miami, FL. She will also be dearly missed by her eight grandchildren: Jamie Payton, Kaitlyn Yenco, Kristie Zurmehly, Kelsey Yenco, Kelly Holt, Megan Holt, Bethany Latham and Jack Holt, as well as her two great grandchildren, Skylar and Kenneth Payton. She was predeceased by her husband James, sister, Gloria and mother, Lillian. A private burial at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus took place shortly after her passing. A memorial mass will be held on June 24th, 10:00am at St. Luke's RC Church in Ho-Ho-Kus.
