Joan Brower Lindhardt, 81, passed away November 29, 2017 at the McKay Dee Hospital, in Ogden, UT from a cerebral hemorrhage. She was born February 29, 1936 in Parker, ID to Joseph Workman Brower and Pamela Mason Brower. She met Ross David Lindhardt in Salt Lake City, UT, and they were married September 13, 1963 in the Logan Temple (a match made in heaven.) They lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mink Creek, Idaho and Banida, Idaho.
Joan had a way of focusing on the person she was with and making them feel special. She was generous to a fault, unselfish and loving. Her sense of adventure took her to Europe hitchhiking, and to Alaska. She served an LDS mission to Brazil. She loved being a wife and mother and had tremendous faith in her children. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Ross's cat Boots, Hallmark movies, going to the temple, the farm, working outside in the grass and flowers, reading, and the Utah Jazz. If any of the family or friends had a problem, she was a listening ear and would come to the rescue if at all possible. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving others in various callings in the Church in presidencies of different auxiliaries', as well as a teacher or in the music. She will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to be a part of her life.
She is survived by five sons and one daughter, Daniel (Teresa) Smithfield, UT; Judy (Donald) Liebes, Banida, ID; Peter (Lori), Logan, UT; Jeffery, Lehi, UT; Roger (Jennifer) Farr West, UT; Bradley (Kasaundra) Banida, ID.; 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Waiting to greet her on the other side were her sweetheart, Ross David Lindhardt; her parents, and one brother, Fred Mason Brower.
