St. George Utah – Ted Grant Lindhardt born to Nelson T. and Eunice Bendixen Lindhardt the 1st of June 1960 in Salt Lake City. He passed away in his home in St. George, Utah on the 1st of January 2024 at the age of 63.
Ted met his love through a blind date and married the love of his life, Lorri Kay Robinson Lindhardt in the Salt Lake City Temple on the 2nd of March 1985 and had 38 wonderful years, that brought along with-it Ted's five beloved children and many years filled of love and adventures.
He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a full-time mission in Alanta Georgia. He served as a member of the Quorum of the Seventy, a High Priest and held many other callings but his favorite call in the church by far was in the nursery with his wife.
Ted was a master of his trade, there was no HVAC problem that he couldn't tackle. He worked his whole life in the refrigeration industry and was loved by all because of his kind heart and depth of knowledge. He was not only trusted to get any device working, but the unit would be able to go on working and be reliable for a long time after, just because of how thorough he was.
Ted couldn't walk into a room without lighting it up, he always wore a smile on his face and his heart on his sleeve, was never trodden down and always found something to smile about. His best quality was his kind heart and he proved it to us all. Even going though copious amounts of unfathomable suffering from brain deterioration, he still would do his best to help others and would still bring light and love to every room.
Ted is survived by his adoring wife that cared for him, Lorri Kay Lindhardt. His children Marie (Brandon) Staples, Bryce, Stacy, Katie (Travis) Christensen, Jason (Jamie) Lindhardt and 9 ½ rambunctious grandchildren. Also leaving behind his three amazing brothers Don (Sherry), Ben (Katherine), Roy (Kanda) their wonderful children and a slew of little ones that lovingly referred to Ted as Uncle Grandpa Ted.
Ted you will be missed, you are loved and will not be forgotten. With one of your most used sendoffs,
"TaTaTa for now. Catch ya on the flip side!"
