ORZEL, Joan, R., May 26, 2025 Age 81. Beloved wife of the late Walter (2023). Loving mother of Sandra (Robert) Pillard, Susan (Michael) Murphy, and Tricia Pituch-Orzel. Proud grandmother of Zachary (Autumn) Murphy, Katie Murphy, Morgan Pillard, and Emily Pituch. Dear sister of the late Louis (the late Jennie) Maltese. Adored aunt of Ann Marie Giordano. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Anna Maltese. Also survived by her dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Donald (Leissa) Orzel, Gerald (Mary Ann) Orzel, Charlotte (the late Donald) Brandt, and Cynthia (Cecil) Queen. Predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Walter and Josephine Orzel, and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Stanley (the late Judy) Orzel, Patricia Orzel, and Joyce Orzel.
A Memorial Visitation will take place on June 14, 2025 at 10:30 am at St Malachy Catholic Church 14115 14 Mile Rd until the Memorial Mass at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions in Joan's honor would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
