Joan Petrea Obituary
She graduated from Seaford High School in 1956 and went to work for Southern States. Joan Later went to work with her husband, Bill, at Petrea & Son.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Petrea-Truitt, son-in-law, Donald Truitt, and three grandchildren, Zeb C. Petrea, Samuel Truitt, and Leah Truitt, as well a s her beloved dog, Polly.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Zeb W. Petrea Jr., parents, Charles Fluharty and Lelia Fluharty, sister, Jean White, and brother-in-law, Harlan White.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation to your favorite charity that supports animals or Delaware Hospice.
Funeral Services and burial will be private.

Dear Petrea and Truitt families. This is Dr. Mary Eagle- Joan´ s veterinarian. I am so sorry to say I didn´t know of Joan´s passing until my Christmas card was returned yesterday. Please accept my deepest sympathy. It was an honor to have known Joan- her love for Molly and then Polly knew no bounds. It was a privilege to help her provide the best medical care for beloved friends. I respected Joan deeply and feel so blessed to have been a part of her life. My heart and prayers are with you all.
