Joan Pettit Obituary
Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Emery Pettit, and her sons, Michael Pettit and David Pettit. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Cathy Sloan and her husband CJ Sloan, and her son, Tim Pettit. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jennifer Fenn and her husband David, and Chris Sloan and his wife Ashley, along with her cherished great-grandchildren Madison, Jackson, Max, Colt, Rocky, and Brooke. She is also survived by her dear niece, Connie.
Joan's life was deeply rooted in her faith. She loved God wholeheartedly and carried a special calling to intercede for others. Whether fasting or praying, Joan was always ready to stand in the gap for the needs of her family and friends. Her quiet strength, compassionate spirit, and unwavering trust in God leave a testimony that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Discover Life Church in Melbourne, Florida, on Thursday, February 26, at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Hope Project in honor of Joan's life and legacy of generosity and faith.
