Joan Preston Obituary
She was born on July 31, 1933 in Highland Park, Michigan to Frederick and Mary Vigus (nee Church). Joan enjoyed the quiet activities of sewing, knitting, crossword puzzles, and relaxing with a good book. Aside from needlework and reading, she liked to play cards with friends and family and watch game shows.
Beloved wife of the late Clyde Preston Jr. for 69 years.
Loving mother of Gary (Karen), Ronald (Joanne), David, and the late Alan.
Proud grandmother of Ruthanne and Joshua.
Dear sister of Mike Vigus (Pam Trees) and Robert Vigus (Charlotte).
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Vigus.
Funeral service on Wednesday, September 3, at A.J. Desmond & Sons 2600 Crooks Rd. Troy (248)362-2500. Visitation prior to the service will begin at 10AM at the funeral home.
Final resting place White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
