Joan Elizabeth Ramel

Joan Elizabeth Ramel, 75 of Sugar Creek, MO passed away January 12, 2023, at Centerpoint Medical Center from lung cancer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2023, at VFW Post 3976 in Sugar Creek, MO.
Joan was born December 13, 1947, in Kansas City, MO to parents Eugene and Isabel Brauner. She was 1 of 11 children, a graduate of Southeast high school and secretary of her Tri-Hi-Y sorority. She was a woman of many talents, including hair stylist, cook and bartender. She eventually retired as a manager from Eurest Dining Services in the KC area in 2012. The things she enjoyed most were Chiefs games, family vacations and relaxing at Pomme de Terre lake. She was a selfless, extraordinary caring woman and was loved by all who met her.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bob and Don and sister Judy.
Survivors of Joan include her children: Michelle, Jon (Dani), Michael (Stacey), Elizabeth (Aaron), grandchildren Sarah, Zoey and Karis, great-grandchildren Andre and Ari, siblings Sue, David, Nancy, Rick, Gerald, Terry and Jim, many nieces and nephews and an endless number of friends.
