Joan Swanson Obituary
Joan F. (Lamprecht) Swanson, 81, of Southington, CT, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Southington Care Center.
Joan was born on May 25, 1943 to the late John and Janet (Norman) Lamprecht.
She was a very generous person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She loved her family and was so thankful to be able to spend the last 15 years with her soulmate, Tim. Joan will be deeply missed.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Possum and husband Robert of Plainville and Beth Del Buono and husband Andrew of Southington, three grandchildren, Rachele (Ryan), Dominick (Samantha) and Elizabeth (Nick) and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Dominick. Joan is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Dumas of Bristol and her longtime companion, Tim Kaplita of Southington. She was predeceased by her brother, Fred Lamprecht.
