Joan Thompson Obituary
Joan was united in marriage to Robert C. Thompson on April 25, 1954 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling in Decatur, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2012.
Joan is survived by her daughter, Janalee S. (Stanley) Bieberich of Fort Wayne, Indiana; son, Jamie L. (Amy) Thompson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; son, Jerry L. (Angie) Thompson of Wolcottville, Indiana; sister, Cynthia (Dean) Wass of Monroeville, Indiana; sister-in-law, Charlotte Fuelling of Decatur, Indiana; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Arlene (Kenneth) Niemeyer and Alice (Eugene) Bruick, and her brother, Delmore Fuelling.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026 at Lutheran Life Villages Chapel, 6701 S. South Anthony Blvd., Ft. Wayne, Indiana. with visitation one hour prior to services.

I was fortunate in having the Thompson's as a neighbor. I was a teenager then and could count on Joan having something good to eat. She was truly a marvelous person.
