Joan was a very special person in my life, and to my family. I have always been close to her family and my prayers go out to all of them during this difficult time. I will never forget her guidance, encouragement and the opportunities she provided to me.
She was my mentor and friend, and sharing time with her was always great fun, professionally and personally. She will always be remembered fondly in my heart.

So very sorry. She was one of a kind that brought laughter to many. She will be missed by all who crossed her path. I was her hairdresser for many years. So many memories there that I will cherish forever.

Joan invested in my life from a very young age. She was our neighbor when I was a child and always welcomed us kids into her home. Her son Jimmy was a great friend and always protected us girls and we shared many good times. Later, she mentored me while working at Oroville Family Health Center. She taught me work ethic and clerical skills that served me well in my future career endeavors. Joan you made a significant mark in my life as a mother figure and friend. You will be missed and remembered as kind, intelligent, funny and giving.

Thank you for believing in me!
