Joan Marie Webb, 82, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025, at home with her family.
Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, to William and Sammie Douglas, Joan was blessed with two brothers, Mike and Charles Douglas. In 1960, she married Wilbert Tutt, and together they had two sons, Mike and Bryan. Following Wilbert's passing in a work-related accident, Joan found the strength to relocate to Jeffersonville, Indiana, in 1971 to be near her church family. In 1973, she married Ray Webb, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years until his passing in 2023. Together, they welcomed a daughter, Rebekah, and a son, John, completing their loving family.
Joan was a woman of deep faith, joy, and kindness. She found great fulfillment in serving the Lord, cherishing time with her family, and admiring the beauty of God's creation. Her cheerful spirit and unwavering love left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Mike Tutt (Kathy), Bryan Tutt, Rebekah Merewether, and John Webb; her brother, Mike Douglas (Mary Betty); eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; and a host of extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sammie Douglas; her husband, Wilbert Tutt; her husband, Ray Webb; her brother, Charles Douglas (Barbara); and many loved ones who have gone before her.
Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway on Tuesday, March 4 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and again at Christ Gospel Church, 2614 East 10th Street on Wednesday, March 5 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
Joan's family is grateful for the love and support shown during this time. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love, joy, and faith she shared with the world. Memories of Joan and messages of support for the family can be shared at www.ScottFuneralHome.com.

Oh what memories we have. WOW, now your raptured into the arms of our Father, pain free. Prayers and concerns you shared with me over the years are put to rest. You see, know and understand more than ever imaginable a few days ago. Thanks for the supernatural visit last night which brought me to know you had crossed Jordan. It reminded me of the many years ago telling me your dream of me knitting a sweater for me and my children. I'll state what you already know....much love, your friend and sister in Christ, Gail :)
