Joan Widdison passed away at home on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Joan grew up in Turner's Falls, MA and married the love of her life Paul (prior deceased). They were married for 49 years living in Quincy, Ma. to raise their family.

Joan was a progressive woman who worked outside the home for Jordan Marsh and Macy's of Boston managing the Revlon cosmetics.

Joan traveled the world with Paul and their children, and later in life wintered in Florida with long-time friends. She enjoyed bocce and outings to the beach with close friends.

Joan was the loving mother of Laura Campbell and her husband Thomas, Linda Johnson and her husband Mark, and Wayne Widdison and his wife Kathy of Belmont. Cherished grandmother to Nathaniel and Nicholas Johnson of Quincy, and Christine Manning (Campbell) and Nichole Bowe (Campbell) of Quincy and Samantha and Stephen Widdison of Belmont. Joan felt blessed to also have six great grandchildren to love.

Joan will be deeply missed by family and many life-long friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Research Center, Boston, MA.
