Joanie Blevens, 65, of Lapel, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at IU Health Saxony Hospital in Fishers following an extended illness.
She was born on December 15, 1959, in Boston, Massachusetts to Frank and Carol Mallard.
She received her bachelor's degree in business and was a Project Manager for Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis for several years.
Joanie and James loved to snow ski in Colorado; take road trips on their motorcycle across the country; and loved to hike.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Blevens of Lapel; daughter, Jamie Lyn (Nick) Norman of Noblesville; brother, Frank Mallard of Noblesville; grandchildren, Camryn, Cheyenne, Carsyn; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Steven, Donna, and Susan.
Joanie's wishes were to be cremated.
