JoAnn McDole Benke, 91 formerly of Bellevue, KY, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025 at The Seasons at Alexandria with her children by her side.

JoAnn was Secretary to the Administrator of Speers Hospital and later worked at Pogue's Department Store. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. In years past JoAnn enjoyed attending sporting events for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, especially years of family vacations.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Goldie (nee: Young) Bruns, her husband Carl (Bud) McDole, husband Frank Benke and son, Keith McDole.

JoAnn is survived by her son, Kevin (Vicki) McDole, daughters, Karla (Paul) Schultz & Karen (the late Jeff) Klug, 6 grandchildren, Adam (Priscilla) Warren, Heidi Lindsay, Jenna (Justin) Weber, Fr. Ian McDole, Evan ( Stephanie) McDole and Austin (Judy) McDole, also 15 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Penelope & Evie Warren, Jonah, Reid & Violet Lindsay; Nora, Ella & Colin Weber; Merrick, Reagan & Hampton McDole; Patrick, Elijah & Cecilia McDole.

Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Church, 4011 Alexandria Pk. Cold Spring, Ky on Monday, August 18 from 10:00am to 11:00am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place in St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter 720 E Pete Rose Way, Suite 330 Cincinnati, OH 45202.
