Joann Kay Cerka, of Manton, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at her home. She was 67.

Joann was born on April 29, 1958 to John and Rose (Manning) Kolarovic in Traverse City, Michigan. Joann dedicated herself to raising her two boys and enjoyed the time she spent with them, whether going for walks out in nature or on special camping trips. She had a beautiful garden she tended to. Joann found beauty in nature and would come across unique rocks to collect and polish. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, knitting and coloring. She was a very talented artist, and enjoyed photography and collect antique equipment. She volunteered her time serving her community as the Greenwood Township Clerk for numerous years, and recently helping assist with training over at the township. Some of her fondest memories to share included fishing trips with her father in her younger years. Above all she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her two boys and her granddaughter.
Joann is survived by her loving sons, Kenneth Cerka, Jr. of Manton and John Cerka of Manton; granddaughter, Rosalee Cerka; and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose Kolarovic.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Hall-Holdship Funeral Home in Manton.
