JoAnn Danner Obituary
JoAnn was born June 1, 1934. Her mother was Eula McCord. She passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the age of 90.
JoAnn graduated from Windom High School and East Texas State University, majoring in Library Science and English. She taught school for Dallas, Austin and Bonham school districts for many years.
JoAnn was married to Gene Danner for 69 years and they have two children: Craig Danner and wife Pam of Mount Pleasant, Texas; and Cathy Danner of Bonham, Texas.
She is also survived by grandson, Cody Danner and wife Nicole of Liberty Hill, Texas; great-grandson Kolten McDaniel of Liberty Hill, Texas; and cousin, Glenn Moore and wife Lola Anne of Dallas, Texas.
JoAnn served as President of the Bonham Public Library Board and held several positions and served on many committees for First United Methodist Church. She was a member of Texas Retired Teachers Association and was a Camp Fire leader for many years.
JoAnn was known for her lavish brunches and neighborhood Christmas parties.

Cathy, Oh sweet Cathy, I just learned of your Mother´s passing. I´m so sorry that I didn´t know sooner and wasn´t there for you. She and your dad were always so precious to me. I send all of my love, sorrow, condolences and prayers to you and the family. I will always love you!
