JoAnn “Jodi” Fox Clark, of Fairhope, Alabama, passed from this earth on Saturday, August 23, 2025. She was born on May 27, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, and was raised in Farmersville, Ohio.
Jodi is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dr. Robert A. Clark of Fairhope, AL; her son, Robert Christopher Clark (Cynthia Raulston) of Birmingham, AL; her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Clark Golson (John Grant Golson) of Overland Park, KS; her brothers, Thomas Lee (Julie B.) Fox of Germantown, OH, and Michael A. (Cheryl) Fox of Monroe, OH. She was a proud grandmother of William and Wyatt Clark, William and Henry Raulston, and Bonnie and John Golson, III. She is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home in Germantown, OH. A graveside service will follow immediately at Twin Valley Cemetery, west of Farmersville, OH. Jodi will be laid to rest in the Apple family plot, alongside her parents, Donald L. Fox and Jean Apple Fox.
Following the graveside service, family and friends are invited to a gathering at Center Street Events, 14 W. Center Street, Farmersville, OH.
Jodi spent her life loving and caring for her family. She was a former college and high school English teacher, an avid reader, and supporter of programs that uplifted young women, particularly through her involvement with Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and Distinguished Young Women of Baldwin County, AL. (formerly Junior Miss).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jodi’s honor to:
-Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation
-Distinguished Young Women of Baldwin County
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL, and Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home in Germantown, OH, for their care and assistance in bringing Jodi home to her final resting place.
