JoAnn Marie Koslowsky, 76, of Downingtown, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Chester County Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Edward Koslowsky, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Mathias Burdey and Josephine Miriam Perk Burdey.
In addition to caring for her family JoAnn loved crafting. She had a true talent when it came to creating beautiful things. Whether it was sewing, decoupaging or refinishing furniture JoAnn's meticulous eye for detail showed in all of her creations.
In addition to her husband, JoAnn is survived by three children, Debra Luongo (Christopher), Amy Koslowsky and Thomas E. Koslowsky, Jr.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Benjamin, Jonathan, Michael and Trey, and by six siblings; Kathryn Trout (Larry), Dee Guida (Michael), Charles Burdey, Joseph Burdey (Denise), David Burdey and William Burdey (Terri). She was predeceased by a brother, Gregory Burdey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025 at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown. Family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
Interment will be private with the family.
