JoAnn Reed, 70, of Stevensville, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2002, at her home.
A Graveside Committal Service will be held at Riverview Cemetery, on Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Christopher Noffke officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 ? 9:00 P.M. Thursday, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made Zion United Church of Christ, Baroda. Mrs. Reed was born on July 12, 1932, in Manila, Arkansas, to Joseph and Loreen (Parker) Foster. On November 23, 1948, in Benton Harbor, she married William Reed. She worked at Shephard Casters in St. Joseph, until retiring in 1981.
She is survived by a son Ron (Sherry) Reed of Stevensville; four grand children and 4 great-grandchildren; a brother Jerry (Linda) Foster, of Blyville, Ark; sisters ? Frieda (Donald) Weaver of Mountain Home, Arkansas, LaVida Foster, of Manchester, New Hampshire, Peggy Davis, of Leachville, Arkansas.
JoAnn is preceded in death by a son - Freeman Reed in 1989, and her parents.
