JoAnn Sprite Obituary
JoAnn Marie Sprite, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 in Grand Haven, Michigan. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 1, 1945 to Joseph and Anna (Rafac) Bucz. JoAnn grew up in Chicago and graduated from Brookfield High School, class of 1963.
On June 30, 1970 she married the love of her life, Larry E. Sprite in Wheaton, Illinois. Together they cherished almost 50 years of marriage full of love and laughter. JoAnn enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family. Most importantly, she loved doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by six children; Lori (Buck) Strang, Cathy (Orv) Sankey, Scott (Denise) Zimmerman, Julie (Mark) DeBolt, Natalie Hector, and Andrew Sprite; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; son, Ernie Sprite; and her parents.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Arrangements by The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
