EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO - JoAnn (Savina) Talbott, 86, of East Liverpool passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

JoAnn was born in Grafton, WV on May 13, 1939, a daughter of the late Joseph and Roxie (Robinson) Savina. She retired from K Mart where she worked as a clerk. JoAnn also worked at Thrifty City. She enjoyed playing slot machines. Most importantly, JoAnn was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister that loved being with her family.

Preceding JoAnn in death were her husband, whom she married July 3, 1965, Ronald Lee Talbott; daughter Tina Talbott; sister Jeannie Reckner and two brothers Jim Savina and Bill Savina.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Ron L. Talbott, Jr and his wife Karen of East Liverpool and Craig Talbott and his wife Julie of Wellsville; daughter Marcia Newlin and her husband Richard of East Liverpool; seven grandchildren Jeremy Newlin and his wife Ashley of Wichita, KS, David Talbott of Wellsville, Nicole Deem and her husband Gage of New Martinsville, WV, Zachary Talbott of Palmetto, FL, Shane Talbott of East Liverpool, Morgan Talbott of Wheeling, WV and Hannah Newlin of Martins Ferry, OH; three great grandchildren Shelby Talbott, Adelynne Newlin and Paker Jo Deem; four sisters Connie Balch, Carolyn Davis, Wanda Price and Vonda Garvey and her husband Jerry and brother Terry Savina and his wife Shirley.

Friends may visit Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Evangelist Will Montgomery will conduct a funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial at Calcutta U.P. Cemetery at a later date.

Following the service the family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
